Coronavirus is here and it doesn’t seem to be letting up. Many of us here in the Bay Area have entered our 5th week of Stay at Home/Shelter in Place and are preparing for many more.
In the meantime, when you’re not baking banana bread or sourdough it’s time to veg out in front of the TV. While we all have seen Tiger King, here’s a few shows worth binging that pack a style punch.
Killing Eve
While Eve Polsatri leaves something desperately desired in the fashion department her hitman counterpart, Villanelle, has enough style for the both of them. Catch this show on Amazon Prime and prepare to be inspired.
2. Gossip Girl
If you missed out on watching this at any point in the last 15 years, now’s the time. While some looks are positively dated, many others are as timeless as the stories they tell. Plus, there’s a style for each character, something for everyone!
3. Next in Fashion
This new Netflix series is the modern day Project Runway. Even if sewing and design aren’t your forte or interest, this show is still worth it for hosts Tan France and Alexa Chung’s outfits, as well as the rotating selection of judge’s ensembles. The designers themselves each come bearing a unique sense of style that can be learned from as well.
4. Schitt’s Creek
Canada’s Pop TV is now on the map thanks to this cult favorite TV Show! Whether your a bohemian queen like Alexis or a dramatic Moira, or an androgynous David, there’s plenty of style inspiration in every single episode of this show.
5. Mad Men
Whether you have a more vintage approach to your personal style or not, Mad Men has inspiration for all your style needs. Not to mention, good looking men in suits!
