Let’s talk ACCESSORIES: it’s 2020 and while most of us are living in some semblance of athleisure, accessories are still a way to up the ante and feel a little special on Zoom calls. Here’s our top ten accessories to buy for 2020:
Bucket Hats
The 90s style has returned! Keep the sun out of your face or hide your unwashed quarantine hair with this trending style. Personally, I love a designer option, but am loving these recycled towel bucket hats or this quarantine MUST with the built-in face shield because #2020.
Signet rings
Dainty rings are great and all, but the rising trend in jewelry is going to be the signet ring. Some of my faves are from NY’s Vera Meat brand or SF’s Fiat Luxe.
bum bags
Bum bag, fanny pack, waist bag, belt bag…whatever you call it, this hands-free style statement is here to STAY. Personally, I have about 3 belt bags; a modular olive green one, a classic black one, and of course, one designer option.
Hair Scarves
If you don’t already have a silk hair scarf or two, now’s the time! Whether it’s to provide a sleek frizz-free look or to hide your 5 days unwashed hair from your zoom calls, this is an easy one to buy now and wear for a time to come!
Anklets
Summer is in full swing and the anklet is coming back around. I remember my youth and my bell anklet that must have annoyed my parents and everyone I came into contact with. Currently, I have a pretty blue beaded one with a rose gold chain, no loud sounds, but there’s so many good options out there!
Gloves
Even if Coronavirus starts to back off, there will stay a sense of fear with touching things and being close to people. I anticipate stylish folk remedying this with stylish gloves. A few of my fave easy picks are on my Amazon Faves list here!
Pouchette Bags
Reminiscent of the early oughts, these little armpit huggers are coming back in stock! You can go luxe with a classic Louis Vuitton or Nylon Prada, or go modern with By Far or Staud. Either way, this effortless grab and go is a 2020 must-have.
Ear Huggies
Another upgrade pulled from the 90s, these stylish earrings are the perfect cross between hoops and dangles. I love that some brands allow you to buy just the hoop/huggie part and swap out for various charms. This style looks ultra chic if you go uneven on either side, or have a little ear party snaking up your ear (if you have multiple piercings).
