After nearly three years of living in sweatpants and leggings with a work-appropriate top, it's quite the transition to have to put on "hard pants" and head back to the office. I know the Bay Area work culture doesn't include suit separates and stilletos, but there's still an aesthetic to adhere to in order to be taken seriously in the workplace. There’s a fine line, no matter if you work in tech, legal, marketing, and more of looking approachable yet authoritative. And yes, this guide works for almost any locale, even if you’re outside the Bay Area!
