What makes me an AMAZING Virtual Stylist
I LOVE working with clients from all over! I’ve worked with clients across the States, as well as across the world from as far as Australia and Germany. There’s a few things I think that make me an ✨AMAZING✨ virtual stylist.
TRAVEL. By traveling I see how and what people are wearing, especially when I go to major US cities or hubs. I really love traveling to Europe as I feel so many clients clamor for that effortless European aesthetic.
2. I follow location specific hashtags to keep up with different locales are doing fashionably. This also keeps me up to date on rising local designers and boutiques - which leads me to…
3. LISTEN to your clients needs - do they want local recs or big name stores? Not everyone wants to wear the same Nordstrom or Zara pieces everyone else is wearing, sometimes they want a more local feel (and might not have a stylist near them). I LOVE finding new small businesses to help them support, but also sprinkling in their needs.
I also like to listen to what their lifestyle is. Not everyone is an SF techie so I really pay attention to their lifestyle - what’s their work dress code? What are their friends wearing? Are they more rural or more urban living? All of this plays into what they’re going to feel comfortable wearing.
